1. Authorised load-testing only (security)

Pulsar generates real, high-volume HTTP and WebSocket traffic. You may only run tests against systems that you own or that you have explicit written authorisation to load-test. Directing test traffic at a system without permission is a denial-of-service attack and may be a criminal offence (including under the UK Computer Misuse Act 1990 and equivalent laws elsewhere). You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to test every target you add, and for scheduling tests so they don't disrupt production users.

2. Copyright & intellectual property

The Pulsar software, service, branding, logos, visualisations, report formats and all related content are the copyright and intellectual property of Cybervis — © Cybervis, all rights reserved. Your account grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service. You may not:

• copy, redistribute, resell, rent, sublicense or make the service available to third parties;
• modify, decompile, disassemble, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from any part of the software;
• remove or alter any copyright, trademark or proprietary notices;
• use the service to build a competing product.

Test results and reports for your own systems may be used internally within your organisation.

3. No warranty & no liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Load-test results are informational and do not guarantee how a system will behave in production. You use Pulsar entirely at your own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulsar, Cybervis and their operator accept no responsibility or liability for any disruption, downtime, damage, data loss, cost, legal consequence or claim arising from your use — or misuse — of the service, including any test you run against any system. You accept sole responsibility for the tests you run and you indemnify us against claims arising from them.

4. Account approval, suspension & termination

New accounts require administrator approval before they can be used. We may refuse, suspend or terminate any account at any time, without notice, if we believe the service is being misused, used unlawfully, or used in breach of these terms.

5. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
